Taylor J.  Loock

Taylor Loock was passionate about animal rescue from an early age. She wrote and illustrated these stories when she was in elementary school, with dreams of living in Africa someday to work at an elephant sanctuary. Sadly, Taylor died at the age of eighteen in a traffic crash as a result of the actions of a reckless driver. Her family published these stories as a tribute to Taylor in an effort to raise funds for dog rescue.

Learn why elephants are afraid of mice as only a young author can portray as Taylor Loock leads you through a humorous tale of transformation. Taylor also provides an imaginative take on the classic tortoise and the hare story, this time with a frog and toad in the featured roles.
